To practice Hapkido is to continue something that didn't begin with us. Ildokwan was founded in South Korea in 1996, has been headquartered in Daegu since 1999 and has branches in Santiago, Chile and Abu Dhabi.

More than four decades devoted to the practice, teaching and development of Hapkido.
Kim Eun Sik began his training in 1984 and founded Ildokwan in 1996. His career brings together martial practice, teaching, instructor development, technical evaluation and physical education.
He has served as an instructor, examiner, international referee and university professor. This experience guides Ildokwan's program and its transmission in Korea, Santiago, Chile and Abu Dhabi.
Martial arts ranks
Hapkido is the central focus of his career. His training is complemented by advanced ranks in other martial disciplines.
International branches
The school continues its work outside Korea through branches that transmit the same technical program with fidelity and judgment.
