Why it matters

Central school in Daegu

Daegu is Ildokwan's headquarters and the point from which the technical reference of our Hapkido line is organized.

The school was founded by Kim Eun Sik in Mungyeong in 1996 and established its headquarters in Daegu in 1999. From there, its working standards, program direction and instructor development are preserved.

Maintaining a formal connection with Korea reinforces the value of the program, the training of instructors and fidelity to the tradition.
